ZT3D was founded on June 1st, 2024 by two friends and Veterans of the US Armed Forces. Steve, a long time 3D printing enthusiast, devoted father and husband and Airforce Veteran. And Tyler, an established Warhammer and DnD head, along with being an multifaceted artist and Marine Corps Veteran. Together they strived to take a mutual pride and interest as a pair of dedicated hobbyists and channel that love and passion into something everyone can enjoy.

Then in August of. 2024 the team was joined by Greg, a friend of Steve and Tyler’s and a fellow technology geek. Greg was brought on to help with the website and social media side of the business, however he vey quickly fell in love with 3D printing and became a part of the production side of the business as well.

It doesn’t end at hobbies, either. As a pair of Veterans, ZT3D’s co-founders are active part of the community of Tamaqua, doing whatever they can from assisting the High School in repairs of their 3d printers, to hosting the Cares society on days for safe engagement in tech and art.

“We - as a company founded on our passions - have so much to provide not only to our local community and fellow hobbyists, but to others outside just our small ecosystem here in Tamaqua. I won’t bother using shallow corporate buzzwords like ‘Synergy’ and we have no intention on running on the hopes and dreams of a thousands unpaid interns. We just want to make good products with our interests that can benefit everyone, no matter who you are, or what you’re interested in.”
